Humboldt Keyboarders is available to teach music classes during the school day as well as after school. Our in-school music classes have been very successful – the students love having Mr. Cody\u2019s fun and energetic teaching style as part of their school day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here is a great article about the benefits of music education. Studies show that there is a link between learning music and developing spatial-temporal abilities, that it makes the brain work harder (a good thing!), that learning music can increase intelligence and there are many other benefits. It isn\u2019t that learning music makes someone smarter. It is the discipline it takes to take instruction and practice, taking pride in what they are learning, performing and being a good audience\u2014these are values we take seriously at Humboldt Keyboarders<\/p>\n\n\n\n
